HUAWEI launches MatePad SE 10.4 with 2K display and HarmonyOS 3 in China


HUAWEI has just officially launched the HUAWEI MatePad SE 10.4 in China. The brand's newest entry-level offering which is said to be equipped with a 10.4-inch 2K IPS display.

This is running on the Snapdragon 680 chipset which we've seen used in a number of entry-level smartphones and tablets and is available in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants.

The tablet will also be available in a Wi-Fi only model and an LTE model in their domestic market.

Other Specs

Other specs include a storage capacity of 128GB, a 5100mAh battery with 10W charging, a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.

Out of the box, the MatePad SE 10.4 will be running on HUAWEI's latest HarmonyOS 3.0 which offers a number of features such as multi-window support, cross-device sharing and facial recognition.

Price and availability

This new device will be available for purchase in China starting February 16 and will be available in two color options, the Obsidian Black and Island Blue. The 6GB + 128GB Wi-Fi-only model is priced at 1,499 Yuan (US$ 220), while the 6GB + 128GB LTE model is priced a 1,699 (US$ 250).

For availability in the Philippines, HUAWEI is scheduled to conduct in-store activities for consumers to experience the tablet.

Interested parties may now register on HUAWEI's website for the events scheduled on February 18-19, February 25-26 and March 4-5.
