Chris Hemsworth and director Sam Hargrave has finally landed in Manila for the APAC premiere of Netflix's Extraction 2.
This epic event started with a press conference where Chris and Sam spoke about the standout scenes we can expect in Extraction 2.
Sam excitedly shared that for this film, they surpassed the lengthy seamless action-packed "oner" shot they did on the first movie, now coming in at 21 minutes and 7 seconds.
People from the press weren't spared from being surprised as Chris reveals that one of the craziest things they've probably done in this film, was land a helicopter on a moving train.
The press tour continued on to the red carpet event at the SM Mall of Asia. Fans warmly welcomed the pair with about 800 in attendance. Local stars and influencers also graced the event who are of course are fans of Chris and Sam themselves.
Huge cheers are heard all over the place as the crowd get excited as both stars spent time signing posters and taking photographs.
Famous action stars from Asia, including our very own Derek Ramsey, Malaysia’s Aaron Aziz and Iedil Dzuhrie Alaudin, and Thailand’s Ananda Everingham and Nawat Kulrattanarak also had a special photo moment on stage with Chris and Sam.
Before leaving, Chris gave a special message to his fans: “Thank you so much for all your support and love for the first film. We appreciate your enthusiasm and excitement for the second one. We wouldn’t be here without you.”
EXTRACTION 2 premieres on June 16, only on Netflix.
