ROG Phone 7 Series launched in PH

The ROG Phone 7 line has just been announced in the Philippines - the ROG Phone 7 and Phone 7 Ultimate.

Two futuristically-styled gaming phones which sports a new two-tone design combined the top hardware for the highest level of gaming performance.

The series is built utilizing the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 512 GB UFS 4.0 ROM which is twice as fast as UFS 3.0.

The series also uses a 165 Hz AMOLED display with a 720 Hz touch-sampling rate and a brightness of up to 1,500 nits for easier viewing outdoors.

For the cameras, both devices get a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary shooter paired with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and 5MP for macro. While on the front, is a 32MP shooter.

Both are ready for WiFi 7 with Qualcomm FastConnect 7800, supporting ultrafast 320 MHz channels and Multi-Link operation.

The two phones also have support for Snapdragon Elite Gaming for real-time hardware-accelerated ray tracing. This means, supported games can enjoy hyper-realistic reflections particularly on water and metal surfaces adding a new dimension to gaming.

The series is also equipped with an improved cooling solution with the GameCool 7 thermal system to cool the CPU from all directions. But exclusive to the Phone 7 Ultimate is the AeroActive Portal which is an air inlet which activates when the AeroActive Cooler is attached.

The series staple AirTrigger ultrasonic controls are also present in this new lineup.

Also unique to the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate is the ROG Vision which is a matrix color display on the rear of the phone. This feature can showcase awesome animations triggered by system events, such as charging status, incoming calls, X Mode activation, and more.
