Canon has officially introduced the EOS R5 Mark II and EOS R1 in the Philippines.
Building on the strengths and innovations of the original EOS R5, the EOS R5 Mark II boasts superior image quality and shooting efficiency. This upgraded model is faster, smarter, and includes a 45-megapixel sensor, 8K 60P RAW recording, and a next-generation Dual Pixel Intelligent AF system.
The system leverages the Accelerated Capture image processing system’s powerful processing speed and power to achieve AF and subject detection performance surpassing that of the EOS R3. While, the 10-bit Canon Log 2 makes for more vivid color reproduction and seamless integration with the Cinema EOS workflow.
“The EOS R1 and EOS R5 Mark II are meant to be the perfect choice for professionals who want to capture dynamic and vibrant images and video. At the launch event which took place at Raffles Makati, renowned Filipino photographers Edwin Martinez, Jay Tablante, and Jijo De Guzman, along with filmmakers Kara Moreno and Ian Celis shared their experiences as they explored the potential of the EOS R1 and R5 Mark II cameras for shooting natural landscapes, commercial portraits, sports, cinematography, and weddings.
Price and bundle
The Canon EOS R5 Mark II retails for PhP 249,998 for the body and PhP 329,998 with the RF24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens bundle. It is now available for pre-order at Canon stores and authorized Canon dealers nationwide. Both options include a 512GB CF Express Type B card.
