GoPro has just announced two new cameras: the flagship HERO13 Black, featuring four interchangeable lens mods, and the budget-friendly HERO, the most compact 4K GoPro with a screen.
HERO13 Black
The HERO13 Black boasts cutting-edge technology, offering 5.3K 60fps video and HyperSmooth stabilization, along with 13x Burst Slo-Mo that captures 400fps at 720p, 5.3K at 120fps, and 900p at 360fps.
It also features a 10% larger, more efficient Enduro Battery and Snap and Go Magnetic Latch Mounting.
The HERO13 Black supports WiFi 6 connectivity, delivering 40% faster content transfers, HLG HDR Video with 10-bit color and Rec. 2100 color space, and customizable audio tuning. It also includes GPS + Performance Stickers to track speed, altitude, and more.

The HERO13 Black retails for PhP 25,990, while the Creator Edition is priced at PhP 38,990. The new cameras will be available locally starting September 11 through GoPro’s official LazMall, Shopee Mall, and other authorized retailers.
HB-Series Lenses
The HERO13 Black supports the new HB-Series lenses, which are all compatible with GoPro’s HyperSmooth stabilization. The four lens mods include:
- Ultra Wide Lens Mod (PhP 6,590): Captures a 177° field of view with unbreakable 360° Horizon Lock.
- Macro Lens Mod (PhP 8,590): Offers variable focus for up-close shots.
- Anamorphic Lens Mod (PhP 8,590): For cinematic, ultra-wide footage.
- ND Filter 4-Pack (PhP 4,690): Enhances motion blur for cinematic shots.
These accessories will be available locally starting September 11, with the Anamorphic Lens Mod arriving in 2025.
HERO (2024)
The HERO is GoPro’s smallest, lightest 4K camera with a screen. Featuring a compact design weighing 86g, the HERO has 35% less volume and is 46% lighter than the HERO13 Black.

The device is waterproof up to 16ft (5m) and features a touch interface and one-button control for easy navigation and quick capture.
The HERO captures Ultra HD 4K and HD 1080p video, plus 2x Slo-Mo. It also includes GoPro's HyperSmooth Video Stabilization, which stabilizes footage via the Quik app.
Additionally, it comes with the Enduro Battery, providing up to 100 minutes of continuous recording.
The HERO will be available locally on September 23 for PhP 13,990.
