HUAWEI has officially introduced the HUAWEI WATCH D2, the latest smartwatch in its D series, and the first to feature Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM). This advanced feature delivers faster and more accurate results, allowing users to get a clearer picture of their blood pressure.
With 37% of Filipinos suffering from hypertension, this innovation is designed to offer 24-hour monitoring, helping users understand the cause of blood pressure fluctuations. The WATCH D2 is lightweight, ensuring comfortable all-day wear, and includes customizable intervals for blood pressure checks, ranging from 15 to 60 minutes, along with scheduled alerts to keep track of health effortlessly.
The smartwatch is powered by the HUAWEI TruSense System, offering a range of health-tracking features. It monitors heart rate, blood pressure, and sleep patterns to help identify potential health risks. The Health Glance report provides a quick snapshot of vital health stats, while the HUAWEI Health App extends its functionality by allowing users to monitor loved ones’ health with alerts for early detection of issues.

In terms of design, the WATCH D2 merges style with function, featuring a sleek glossy mirror bezel, a rotating crown, and a smooth curved surface. It comes in black and gold, with sweat-resistant, adjustable straps for added comfort. The watch also caters to fitness enthusiasts, supporting over 80 sport modes, along with practical features like Bluetooth calling, NFC-enabled door access, and compatibility with both iOS and Android. Its battery lasts up to six days on a single charge, making it a reliable companion for extended use.
Additionally, by the end of 2024, HUAWEI plans to integrate a smart e-wallet feature with GCash for seamless mobile payments directly from the watch.
Launch and Availability
The HUAWEI WATCH D2 is set to launch in the Philippines on October 18, 2024, and will be available through Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, and HUAWEI stores.
Early buyers can secure a PhP 2,000 discount by paying a PhP 1,000 deposit between October 7 and 13, with the remaining balance due from October 14 to 20. Plus, an additional PhP 1,000 off can be availed via vouchers on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok from October 5 to 20.
