Netflix has unveiled the key art and additional images for Outside, its first zombie psychological thriller from the Philippines.
The central artwork features the disheveled family patriarch, Francis (Sid Lucero), holding a shovel as he buries something in the ground. This striking image evokes a sense of unease, highlighting how familiar surroundings have become remnants of a safer past. What remains is a struggle to navigate a fragile reality filled with secrets waiting to be discovered.
Directed by Carlo Ledesma, this film promises rising tensions and a test of sanity, underscored by the chilling tagline: “You can't keep out what's already inside.”
Outside features a talented cast, including Sid Lucero (from Smaller and Smaller Circles), Beauty Gonzalez (Izla), and Marco Masa (Beauty and the Bestie), with special appearances by Joel Torre and Enchong Dee.
Carlo Ledesma, a Filipino-Australian director known for his gripping thrillers like The Haircut and Sunod, helms this project.
Outside will premiere globally on Netflix on October 17, 2024.
