From the directors of Avengers: Endgame, The Electric State is set to transport audiences into an alternate version of the 1990s. Millie Bobby Brown stars as Michelle, an orphaned teenager on a mission to find her younger brother, Christopher, whom she thought was dead. In a world where sentient robots, once living peacefully among humans, are now exiled after a failed uprising, Michelle teams up with a mysterious robot named Cosmo and a smuggler, Keats (Chris Pratt), embarking on a dangerous journey.
As they venture into the Exclusion Zone — an area where robots now live isolated — Michelle, Keats, and their robotic sidekick, Herman (voiced by Anthony Mackie), uncover a sinister plot behind Christopher's disappearance. Along the way, they encounter colorful animatronic allies and unravel secrets that could change everything.
With an all-star cast including Ke Huy Quan, Giancarlo Esposito, Stanley Tucci, and Jason Alexander, The Electric State promises an epic blend of adventure and emotion. Based on Simon Stålenhag’s graphic novel, the film is written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely and set to premiere on March 14, 2025.
