HUAWEI FreeArc: Brand's first open-ear TWS makes global debut

At the HUAWEI Innovative Launch in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, HUAWEI introduced its latest audio device, the HUAWEI FreeArc—the brand's first open-ear true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds with ear hooks.

Designed for comfort and breathability, the FreeArc features an ergonomic design with a C-Bridge structure, incorporating a 0.7mm high-performance nickel-titanium (Ni-Ti) shape memory alloy that adapts to the shape of your ears.

The earbuds provide a 140 degree triangle support for a secure fit, covered in a soft, liquid silicone material.

Designed to deliver exceptional sound, the HUAWEI FreeArc feature active noise cancellation using its Reverse Sound Wave design and a 17x12mm high-sensitivity driver unit for a symmetrical acoustic structure, dynamic bass, and Adaptive Equal-loudness Algorithm for rich audio quality.

There's also AI Crystal-Clear Calls that uses a dual-mic framework and triple call noise cancellation. The FreeArc uses a dual-resonator antenna allowing for a secure connection to reach 400m.

Its also powered by a 55mAh battery per earbud and a 510mAh battery in the charging case. It supports wired fast charging, providing up to 3 hours of music playback with just a 10-minute charge.

Additionally, this marks HUAWEI’s first IP57 water-resistant earbuds, featuring specialized water-resistant microphones to protect against rain and sweat during intense activities like running, cycling, yoga, and more.

Price

The HUAWEI FreeArc is set to retail at €119, which is approximately $124 USD or PhP 7,200, based on current exchange rates.
