Insta360 has officially launched its latest flagship camera, the Insta360 X5, now available in the Philippines. This new model brings major improvements in image quality, durability, and AI-powered features.
The X5 is equipped with a larger 1/1.28" sensor, which is 144% bigger than the previous version. This allows it to capture more light, unlocking sharper 8K 360° video. It also introduces a powerful Triple AI Chip system and a new low-light mode called PureVideo, which reduces noise and enhances clarity, even in dim or tricky lighting conditions.
Active HDR has also been upgraded to 5.7K at 60fps, delivering smoother and more detailed video in high-contrast scenes.
Built for adventure, the X5 is Insta360’s toughest 360° camera yet. It features ultra-durable, replaceable lenses, a built-in wind guard, up to 3 hours of battery life, and is waterproof up to 49 feet.
A new feature, InstaFrame Mode, lets users record both a full 360° video and an auto-framed flat video at the same time—making content creation even easier.
To make things even simpler, InstaFrame Mode refines every aspect of 360° capture. It lets users shoot without worrying about framing or missing a moment. It’s a shoot-first, frame-later approach that ensures nothing gets left out.
This mode produces two video files:
– A ready-to-share flat video with no need for editing or reframing. Choose between a fixed view that stays locked in one direction, or a selfie view that keeps you in frame the whole time.
– A full 360° clip that gives you the freedom to reframe and explore the scene later.
The Insta360 app has also been upgraded with more intuitive editing tools, and the X5 now works seamlessly with the Insta360+ cloud service for easy backup and access.
